I am living in the freelance world, where it is good to do less to earn more. A freelancer does multiple jobs: a creator, manager, accountant, marketer. The tools that would come in handy at any job are numerous, but, at the same time, excessive number of tools may be problematic. That’s why I recommend some tools for Minimalist freelancer Productivity. Before we get into tools I should think why it important.
Being a freelancer, I had an experience of knowing that productivity is doing what matters the most with clarity and calm, not the increasing of the amount of work.
Now in my earliest days, I was a chaser of productivity apps of all forms and types: task managers, slick dashboards, timers, you name it. However, with some time, I discovered something very essential; additional tools translate into additional productivity. Indeed, they tend to imply more noise, more choices and more burnout. That’s when I discovered the power of minimalist productivity.
Minimalist freelancing does not imply cutting everything away. It is a matter of intentionality: applying only those tools that really assist me:
Concentrate on intensive, substantial work.
Clear off distractions and space.
Create resilient (adaptable) systems to deliver to my way of life.
